Dollar Portraits

I started photography so I can photograph cars. They are my passion but soon after photography turned into a much more consuming passion. I tried street one day and found it to be exciting and challenging. There was to be nothing else for me. It's the life of street I wanted to live.

...and for a while I did.

Here we are today and I find myself rather unexcited with street. I see lots of street photography and most of it is just so bland. It seems that any photo taken on the street with a person or two passes for something worthy of display. I don't think it's the quality of work that I'm seeing that has changed, rather my opinion and personal taste. I must be honest and admit that I'm so disgusted with street that I've stopped shooting all together. It's time to move on. Maybe I'll be back one day...
