With just 12 players left in the World Poker Tour’s Foxwoods World Poker Finals, Tom Marchese has grabbed the chip lead in a stacked field that promises to set up an exciting final table. Marchese have more than 1.8 million chips, giving him roughly twice the William Hill Poker Promotional Code stack of the player in second position, Jeff Forrest.

Marchese is in the middle of a great year, having already cashed several times in major events, including winning a North American Poker Tour $5,000 buy-in event in February, cashing twice at the World Series of Poker (including a final table appearance), and having already had two previous cashes on the World Poker Tour. Even if it’s just his first year of live tournament play, Marchese ranks 7th on the 2010 money list; the Hendon Mob William Hill Poker Bonus Database lists his winnings at just over $1.8 million.

But Marchese aren’t even the most celebrated name remaining in the tournament. Veteran tournament pro Hoyt Corkins and young star Jason Mercier is also in contention with 322,000 chips, and will be looking to make his first ever WPT final table. Both Corkins and Mercier have over $5 million in career earnings, making them formidable opponents despite their small stacks.
